About Us

We are honest about Astrology

Astrology is one of the oldest things humans have done with the sky. People have read it for about 4000 years, on nearly every continent. Most people alive today carry a piece of it. You probably know your sign.

But your sign is one number out of many. It is only where the Sun stood on the day you were born. A daily horoscope speaks to that one number, shared by hundreds of millions of people at once. It is the smallest, blurriest version of something far more specific to you.

The rest is rarely shown. The full chart, the real positions, and the point where calculation ends and interpretation begins. That is the part we think matters most, so it is the part we open up.

That is what Honest Astrology means here. It is a promise about how we work, not a claim about what the sky does. Every part of your chart is laid out for you in plain language. Nothing is hidden.

Our mission

To explain the sky you were born under, in plain language.

Our vision

To make honest astrology the version the world knows.

Values

What we hold to.

Honesty. We tell you what a reading is and what it is not. Astrology is often handed over as a finished verdict with the workings removed. We do the opposite. For us, the honesty is the product, not a label on it.

Transparency. We explain exactly how a reading is made. The part that is calculated and the part that is interpreted, and where one ends and the other begins. Nothing about the process is kept back from you.

No predictions or advice. A reading is for reflection. It is not a forecast of your future, and not guidance on health, money, relationships or any decision. We will never write it as if it were.

Plain language. If you need a glossary to understand yourself, we have failed. We turn the chart into words you already use. No symbols to decode, nothing to look up.

How a reading is actually made

Step by step, with nothing skipped.

1. Your details become a moment. Your birth date, time and place fix a single point in space and time.

2. We compute the sky. From that point we calculate where the Sun, Moon and every planet actually were. This part is astronomy. It is mathematics, it is repeatable, and it is not our opinion. Two people born in the same minute in the same place get exactly the same chart.

3. You choose the method. Indian or Western. Both read the same sky, through two systems refined over centuries. Western uses the tropical zodiac, the one your usual star sign comes from. Indian uses the sidereal zodiac, anchored to where the stars actually sit. You pick which one reads your chart.

4. You ask a question. You choose what you want to understand. Yourself, love, work, or the people around you. The reading is built around that question, not handed to you as a generic profile.

5. The chart is read back to you. Here is the honest part, said plainly. This step is interpretation, not measurement. There is no instrument that shows the planets cause events, and we do not claim there is one. What happens is this. An AI model, has a vast amount of data on what astrologers have written over many centuries. It interprets your specific chart in that long established language, focused on the question you asked, and returns it in plain words. It is reading a method, not predicting your life.

6. We tell you the limits. If your birth time is missing, we leave out the parts that depend on it and say so. We do not fill the gap with a guess. The result is for reflection only.

Why a moment at birth would relate to anything that comes later is a question astrology has carried for thousands of years. It is not one we claim to have settled. We are precise about the sky, honest about the interpretation, and clear that what you do with it is yours.

The name

The word "Naksha" primarily translates to map.

In Sanskrit and Hindi, naksha (नक्शा) means a map. In classical Indian astrology, nakshatra (नक्षत्र) is the set of twenty seven lunar mansions, the segments of sky the Moon moves through. The name sits between the two. A map drawn from the sky.

A map is something you read to find your way. That is the relationship we want you to have with your own chart.

The logo

The logo is designed to look like sun.

Here's why...

The Sun is a star, the nearest one to us. It is also the star humans have used the longest to know where they are. We complete a day in one turn beneath it. The year is one journey around it. Sundials, calendars, the seasons, the planting and the harvest, and finding direction by its place in the sky. For almost all of human history, the Sun was the first instrument we had.

It also sits at the centre of the chart. Your star sign is your Sun sign, the place the Sun stood on the day you were born. It is the one part of astrology nearly everyone already knows about themselves. The oldest reference point we have, and a natural place to begin.

The clearest way to understand any of this is to see it land on your own chart, in plain words.

What this is, and what it isn't

Your birth chart is computed by astronomy. Real planetary positions, calculated mathematically, not guessed. The reading of that chart is written in plain language by an AI model. It is for reflection only. It is not a prediction, and your life may look nothing like what a reading says. AI can and does make mistakes.

Nothing here is medical, mental health, financial, legal or relationship advice. If you need any of those, please speak with a qualified professional. If you are in distress, please reach out to someone you trust or your local emergency or crisis service. You must be at least 12 years old to generate a reading. If you are not old enough, please do not use the service.
